A fun twist on burger night, this Simple Fajita Smash Burger combines juicy beef with zesty fajita flavors for a crowd-pleasing meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet of fajita seasoning
  • Burger buns (your choice)
  • Sliced bell peppers
  • Sliced onions
  • Cheese slices (cheddar or your favorite)
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
  2. Mix the ground beef with the fajita seasoning gently.
  3. Shape the beef into balls (about ¼ pound each), then smash them onto the hot skillet.
  4. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned.
  5. Add cheese slices on top during the last minute to melt.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the skillet or grill during the last minute.
  7. Assemble the burgers with grilled onions, bell peppers, lettuce, tomato, and condiments.
