A delightful treat combining gooey caramel with crunchy pecans, perfect for quick snacks or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup caramel candies
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the caramel candies and heavy cream. Stir often and let them melt until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and add in the vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
  3. Fold in the chopped pecans until well coated.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them out.
  5. Sprinkle a little sea salt on top for balance.
  6. Let them cool until set; this may take some time.
