Soft, chewy bunny-shaped cookies perfect for Easter celebrations, decorated with pastel candy toppers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Pastel candy toppers for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set this aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed butter, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Roll the dough into bunny shapes using your cookie cutter and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Allow them to cool completely, then decorate with your pastel candy toppers. Enjoy!

Notes

For best results, chill the dough if it’s sticky and avoid overmixing to keep cookies tender. Bake just until soft to maintain chewiness.
