Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the sugar, butter, water, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until boiling.
  3. Add the pecans, stirring to coat them evenly with the syrup.
  4. Bake the pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  5. Cool completely before serving to ensure a crispy texture.

Notes
