Deliciously fresh and flavorful, these Spicy Tuna Tartare Wonton Tacos combine sushi-grade tuna with zesty flavors and crunchy wonton wrappers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz sushi-grade tuna, diced into small cubes
  • 1012 wonton wrappers
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to your taste)
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the sushi-grade tuna into small cubes. The smaller, the better for that delightful texture.
  2. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to create a zesty blend. Make sure to taste it; you might want more sriracha if you like it hot!
  3. Fold the tuna into the mayonnaise mixture and add the chopped green onions. Stir gently so you get a nice even mix without mashing the tuna—nobody wants soggy tacos.
  4. Prepare the wonton wrappers by frying them until crispy. You’ll want to keep an eye on them as they can burn quickly. Fry in hot oil for about 30-60 seconds until golden brown.
  5. Once the wrappers are ready, fill them with the tuna tartare mixture. Don’t overfill them; it’s easier to eat if they’re not bursting at the seams!
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Consider garnishing with sesame seeds or avocado slices for an extra touch.
