Delightful star-shaped waffles that are fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, perfect for breakfast fun.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Warm syrup
  • White star toppings (or edible glitter)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron.
  6. Cook the waffles according to the manufacturer’s directions until golden brown and crisp, about 4-6 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with syrup and sprinkle star toppings on top.

Notes

For best results, preheat the waffle iron adequately and keep finished waffles warm in a low oven.
