A simple and delightful dessert combining creamy cheesecake and fruity strawberries, topped with a golden cake layer.

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking dish.
  2. Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the greased dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry layer.
  5. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden brown and set.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then serve topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.

Notes

For best results, use softened cream cheese and allow the cake to cool before serving.
