A sweet and tangy homemade BBQ sauce made with ripe peaches, perfect for grilled meats and sandwiches.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe peaches, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced peaches, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a medium saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the peaches soften, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Use an immersion blender or transfer the mixture to a blender to puree the sauce until smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Allow the sauce to cool before using it to baste meats or serve as a condiment.

Notes

Use ripe, juicy peaches for the best flavor. Stir often to prevent burning.
