  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.
  2. Shape the meatballs: Take a small amount of the mixture and shape it into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Cook the meatballs: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the sauce: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the honey and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the meatballs in the skillet and let it simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. Don’t rush the browning phase for the best results.
